Landscaping Crew
Uniforms & Branding.

You are already parked on the best advertising space in the neighbourhood — a client's driveway, once a week, all season. Matching crew shirts, a lettered trailer and a sign on the lawn turn that visit into the reason the house across the road calls you.

The package

The lawn care branding package.

Landscaping is a referral business run at walking pace past a hundred front windows. These are the pieces that make sure people know whose truck that is.

👕
Crew tees & tanks

Breathable shirts for July, in colours that hide grass stain better than white does. Name across the back, logo on the chest — visible while the crew is bent over a bed, which is how clients actually see them.

👔
Embroidered polos

For the estimator, the crew lead, and anyone knocking on a door to quote. A stitched polo reads as a company rather than a guy with a mower, and that difference shows up in what you can charge.

🦺
Hi-vis for roadside work

High-visibility tees and vests for boulevard work, municipal contracts and anything near traffic. Branding is kept clear of the reflective tape so the garment still does its job.

🧢
Caps & toques

Embroidered caps for summer and toques for the fall cleanup and plow season. The cheapest piece in the kit and the one crews actually keep wearing off the clock.

🚚
Trailer & truck lettering

Your trailer is a billboard that parks itself on a different street every hour. Cut lettering and printed decals sized so the phone number reads from a passing car, not just up close.

🪧
Lawn signs

Coroplast signs with stakes for install jobs and spring cleanups. Leave one on the lawn for the week after a big job and let the street do the selling.

You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.

What matters here

A crew that looks
worth the invoice.

Landscaping quotes get compared side by side, and the company that shows up in matching gear with a lettered truck wins the tie more often than the one that does not. It is the cheapest credibility you can buy — and unlike ads, you are already driving past the customer.

  • Breathable blanks for summer heat
  • Colours chosen to hide grass stain
  • Embroidery for client-facing staff
  • Hi-vis kept compliant for roadside
  • Trailer lettering read at road speed
  • Same look across every crew
How ordering works

Seasonal hiring, seasonal orders.

Landscaping staffs up in April and turns over through the season. You need a batch before spring, top-ups when you hire, and something warmer by October — so we keep your setup on file and make the reorder a one-line email.

🧾
What it costs

Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.

How fast

The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.

🔁
Reorders

We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What shirts hold up best for landscaping crews?

Poly-blend and performance fabrics beat heavy cotton in July — they breathe, dry faster and hold their shape through a season of sweat. On colour, mid and darker tones hide grass and soil marks far better than white or light grey, which is worth more in practice than most people expect. We will suggest blanks based on how long you need them to last.

Should our crew shirts be printed or embroidered?

Printed for the working crew — it is cheaper per piece, and a big back print is what makes the company name readable from across a yard. Embroidered for anyone who quotes jobs or meets homeowners, because a stitched polo reads as more established. Most landscaping companies we work with run both.

Can you letter our trailers and trucks?

Yes — cut vinyl lettering and printed decals for trucks, enclosed trailers and open landscape trailers. The main thing we push back on is sizing: people design for how it looks standing beside the trailer, when it needs to work at forty kilometres an hour from behind. Ask about installation when you request your quote.

Do you do hi-vis for roadside and municipal work?

Yes. We decorate high-visibility tees, long-sleeves and vests, keeping the branding clear of the reflective striping so the garment still meets the standard your contract requires. Tell us which standard applies and we will source a blank that matches rather than guessing.

Can we add shirts mid-season when we hire?

That is the normal pattern in this trade. We keep your artwork, colours and placements on file, so a top-up batch in June comes out matching the April order. There is no re-setup and no re-quoting from scratch.

Is there a minimum order?

No hard minimum on DTF, so you can do a single shirt for a new hire. Screen printing starts around six pieces and is the better value once you are outfitting a whole crew. Embroidery has no hard minimum, though the one-time digitizing setup makes very small runs less economical per piece.

Can you match our existing logo colours exactly?

For screen printing, yes — inks can be mixed to a Pantone reference, so send the code if you have it. Digital full-colour methods work in CMYK and get very close but cannot hit every Pantone perfectly, particularly bright greens, which matters more in this trade than most. If exact matching is critical, say so and we will steer the method.
