Ottawa Sponsor Shirts

Sponsor Shirts,
Laid Out by Tier.

Sponsor shirts carry the logos of the businesses that paid toward your tournament, run or fundraiser: your event design on the front, and a grid of sponsor logos on the back with the biggest sponsor at the top. We print that grid up to 11″ wide on an adult tee, a human designer checks every logo, and you approve a free mockup before anything prints.

What we offer

Built around the sponsor grid.

🏆
Tiered sponsor grids

The title sponsor runs across the top of the back at the full 11″ width, then each tier below gets a row of smaller logos — two across, then three, then four or five. When we lay out the grid, we balance every row so a square badge and a long wordmark in the same tier look the same size.

🌈
Full-colour logos with DTF

A dozen sponsors can bring a dozen brand colours, and screen printing needs a separate screen for every ink. DTF prints the whole grid in full colour with no per-colour setup, and there is no minimum — we will print a single shirt.

⚪
One-colour grids for big runs

Convert every logo to one ink — white on a navy tee, say — with each sponsor's OK, and the whole “knockout” grid prints from a single screen, the shirt colour showing through. Screen printing becomes the best value past roughly 24–50 pieces, which is why runs in the hundreds usually go this way.

📍
Premium chest and sleeve spots

Sell the left chest (3.5″ wide) or a sleeve (3″ wide) as a step above the grid. A logo with a spot to itself is easier to pick out than one of twenty on the back — just price the tier to cover the extra print location.

🔍
Every logo checked by a person

Sponsor logos arrive as screenshots, email-signature JPGs and files saved off a website. A human designer checks each one for resolution, colour, size and placement, and either fixes the file or tells you which sponsor to chase — it is not an automated preflight.

📦
Volume pricing that pools

In the design studio the per-piece price drops at 12, 24, 50 and 100 pieces, and every colour of the same tee in one order counts toward the same break, so volunteer shirts in a second colour price with the participant shirts. Orders in the hundreds are usually screen printed and quoted directly.

Sponsor tiers

Every tier, placed and sized.

Our standard print sizes, worked into a tiered grid on an adult t-shirt. Settle your sponsorship levels against this before you sell them, so every package promises a spot that physically fits.

Row widths assume about half an inch between logos. Heights follow each logo's own proportions, so a square badge and a long wordmark at the same width won't look the same size — when we build the grid, we balance each row so sponsors in one tier look equal. A square title badge at 11″ wide would also be 11″ tall, which is why square title logos usually print narrower. On youth tees every logo shrinks by the same 8/11, so a 1.8″ supporter logo prints at about 1.3″.

Logo lock checklist

  1. Write a logo lock date into every sponsorship agreement. Work back from the event: delivery, the 1–2 week standard turnaround, then a few days for your committee and sponsors to approve the mockup.
  2. Ask for a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG), and ask whether the sponsor will accept a one-colour version. PNG vs vector for printing explains the files; DTF vs screen printing explains when each method wins.
  3. Only a PNG? Check its width against the pixel column above, then read how to prepare logo files for printing.
  4. Get each sponsor's tier, and their name exactly as they want it printed, in writing.
  5. Blurry logo and no vector anywhere? Our vectorization service redraws it by hand. Flag it early, not the week of the event.
  6. Sponsor signed after the lock? Thank them on the event banner instead of reopening the shirt order.

Planning the rest of the order

  • Mixing garments? At 11″ wide the back print area is 16.5″ tall on a long sleeve, 16.4″ on a polo, 15.6″ on a hoodie and 12.9″ on a crewneck. A grid taller than that is scaled down until it fits, logos and all, so design it for the shortest back in the order.
  • Rec-league team? Sponsor on the front or a sleeve, names and numbers on the back — see how to order team names and numbers.
  • Run or walk? The studio's tee also comes in 100% polyester (Team 365 TT11) — read our guide to custom running shirts before you choose.
  • Volunteers and crew? Put them in a second colour so attendees can find them; the same tee in a second colour, in the same order, counts toward the same price break. See custom staff shirts.
  • Where and how big? Logo placement on shirts covers where each print sits, and the t-shirt design size guide covers how big a design should print.
  • How many of each size? The bulk t-shirt size breakdown turns a headcount into a size-by-size order.
How it works

From sponsor list to finished shirts.

  1. 1
    Lock the logos

Collect every sponsor's logo by your logo lock date, then build the shirt in the design studio: the event design on the front, and the finished sponsor grid as one file on the back — each extra file on a side is priced as its own print. No grid yet? Send the logos and tiers through the free quote form and we'll lay it out.

  2. 2
    Mockup and designer check

A human designer checks every logo for resolution, colour, size and placement before anything goes to press. You get a free mockup on the actual shirt to share with your committee and sponsors, and nothing prints until you approve it.

  3. 3
    We print in Ottawa

Approved shirts are printed in-house in Ottawa — DTF for full-colour grids, screen printing for one-colour runs in volume. Standard turnaround on clothing is 1–2 weeks, and every order shows the dates it will be ready before you pay.

  4. 4
    Shipped Canada-wide

We ship Canada-wide, including the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Montreal; shipping is quoted for your postal code and shown before you pay. Local event? Ask us about pickup in Ottawa.

Artwork & files

Send whatever you have — we'll get it print-ready.

A vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) or a high-resolution PNG works best, but a rough logo is fine to start — we'll tell you exactly what we need. Not sure if your file will print sharp? Read PNG vs vector for printing and how to prepare your logo files, or let our logo vectorization service redraw it for you.

Frequently asked questions

How much do sponsor shirts cost?

As a guide, a screen-printed t-shirt runs roughly $12–$18 CAD each at 50 pieces and drops under $10 each in the hundreds; full-colour DTF sits slightly higher per piece with no setup fee. A sponsor shirt usually prints in two places, front and back, and each print location adds to the per-shirt price. The design studio prices your exact shirt as you build it, and every quote is free and includes a mockup.

How many sponsor logos fit on the back of a shirt?

At our standard an adult tee's back print is 11″ wide and no taller than 16″, so the whole grid has to fit that box. With half an inch between logos, a row of three gets about 3.3″ each and a row of five about 1.8″ each, so one title sponsor, two rows of three and two rows of five (17 logos) usually fits — wide wordmarks stack tighter than square badges. At five or six to a row, taglines and fine type stop being readable, so legibility runs out before space does.

Should sponsor shirts be screen printed or DTF?

Count the ink colours across the whole grid. A dozen full-colour logos can need a dozen inks or more, and screen printing needs a screen for each one, so DTF — full colour, no per-colour setup, no minimum — usually suits a mixed-colour grid. If every sponsor accepts a one-colour version of their logo, the whole grid prints from one screen, and screen printing becomes the best value past roughly 24–50 pieces.

When should we collect sponsor logos?

Set a logo lock date and write it into the sponsorship agreement, along with the file you need: a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG). Work back from the event — delivery, the 1–2 week standard turnaround, then a few days for your committee and sponsors to approve the mockup — and the lock date comes before all of it. A sponsor who signs late can go on the event banner instead; reopening the shirt order for one late logo is the classic way an event misses its date.

What if a sponsor only has a low-resolution logo?

Ask for the vector version first (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG), though a PDF or EPS can still be a pixel image wrapped in a vector file. Our print files are made at 300 dpi, so a PNG needs about 1,000 pixels across to print a 3.3″-wide logo. If neither turns up, our designer tells you before anything prints, and our vectorization service can redraw the logo by hand.

Can we sell the sleeve or the chest as a premium sponsor spot?

Yes. At our standard a left-chest logo prints 3.5″ wide (and no taller than 4.5″) and a sleeve logo 3″ wide, and a logo with a spot to itself is easier to pick out than one in a grid. Each extra print location adds to the per-shirt price, so set the premium tier's price to cover it.

Can a rec-league team shirt have a sponsor and names and numbers?

Yes — the sponsor goes on the front, across the chest or under the team name, or on a sleeve, and the names and numbers take the back. In the design studio, the Team names & numbers chart takes a pasted roster and puts each name on the upper back with the number below. Each personalized shirt costs a bit more, and you approve the full chart before paying.

How ordering works

Design it yourself. A human designer still checks every order.

Our free studio gives you the price and the mockup in the browser. What it doesn't do is print your file blindly — every order is reviewed by a real designer before it reaches the press.

  1. Step 1
    You design it — free

Upload your logo, drop it on a real garment, set the size and placement, pick colours and quantities. No account, no deposit, no waiting on a reply.

  2. Step 2
    A human designer checks it

Before anything prints, one of our designers opens your file and checks resolution, colours, sizing and placement. If it won't print well, we fix it or tell you exactly what's wrong — a person, not an automated preflight.

  3. Step 3
    You approve, then we print

You get the corrected mockup back on the actual product. Nothing goes to press until you say yes — then it's ready in 1–2 weeks, or in 1–3 business days with a rush.

Ready to start?

Tell us what you need and we'll send a free mockup and quote — usually the same business day.

Or design it yourself in seconds — a human designer still reviews every order before it prints.
