Cleaning Company
Uniforms & Branding.
Your staff let themselves into people's homes and offices. A branded uniform is not decoration in this business — it is the thing that tells a client the person at the door is supposed to be there. It is also what separates a company from a classified ad.
The cleaning company package.
Residential or commercial, the job is the same: look legitimate at the door, and be remembered after you leave.
The core uniform. A stitched logo survives commercial laundering far better than a print, which matters when uniforms are washed every single day. Add staff first names for residential work — clients relax when they know who is in the house.
A lighter option for heavy work, deep cleans and summer. Cheaper per piece than polos, so they are the sensible choice for a larger crew or higher turnover roles.
Branded aprons for detail work and anything involving product. They protect the uniform underneath, which extends the life of the more expensive garment.
Embroidered outerwear for staff moving between buildings through an Ottawa winter. Client-facing staff in a branded jacket read as a company; staff in their own coats do not.
Removable door magnets are the right call for staff using personal vehicles — branded on the job, plain on the weekend. Permanent decals for company vans.
Cards to leave on the counter after a clean, and door hangers for the units either side of a job. In residential cleaning the building you are already in is your best lead source.
You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.
A uniform that says
let them in.
Cleaning is a trust business conducted while the client is out. Every signal that says organised, accountable and legitimate is worth money — and every signal that says a stranger in plain clothes costs you. Uniforms are the cheapest of those signals.

High turnover, easy top-ups.
Cleaning has the highest staff turnover of any trade we outfit. The order that matters is not the first one — it is the fifth, when you need three polos in specific sizes with a new name on each and no patience for a fresh setup.
Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.
The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.
We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions
Should cleaning uniforms be embroidered or printed?
Embroidered, in most cases. Cleaning uniforms get washed daily — often hot, often with strong detergent — and a stitched logo simply outlasts a print under that treatment. Printing makes sense for cheaper staff tees, high-turnover roles, or when your logo has gradients that would be expensive to stitch.
Can each uniform have the staff member's name on it?
Yes, and for residential cleaning we would recommend it. A first name under the logo measurably changes how a homeowner reacts to a stranger at the door. Send us the name list with sizes and we will match each garment to each person.
What about staff who use their own cars?
Removable door magnets are the standard answer. Your branding is on the vehicle during the workday and off it on the weekend, so staff are not driving a company advert on personal time — which is often the thing that stops people agreeing to vehicle branding at all.
How do we handle uniforms when staff leave?
Keep the order simple and repeatable rather than perfectly personalized. Many cleaning companies run logo-only polos as the base uniform so garments can be reissued, and add named pieces only for long-term staff. We keep sizes and artwork on file either way, so a replacement order is a one-line request.
Is there a minimum order for cleaning uniforms?
Embroidery has no hard minimum — the digitizing setup is a one-time cost per design, after which even single replacement pieces are viable. For printed staff tees, DTF has no minimum and screen printing starts around six pieces.
Will replacements match the uniforms we already have?
Yes. We keep your stitch file, thread colours and placement measurements on file, so a polo ordered a year later matches the ones already in rotation. That consistency is the main practical reason to stay with one supplier.
Can you do commercial and janitorial as well as residential?
Yes. Commercial and janitorial contracts usually want plainer, more durable garments and often hi-vis for parking structures or industrial sites, while residential leans toward the softer, friendlier polo-and-name approach. Tell us which side of the business the order is for and we will suggest blanks accordingly.
