Roofing Crew Gear
& Job-Site Branding.

Roofing sells itself from the driveway. When a marked truck, a crew in matching shirts and a sign on the lawn all show up together, the neighbours notice — and that is where the next three quotes come from. We make the whole set from one shop in Ottawa.

The package

The roofing branding package.

A roofing job is a week of free advertising on a residential street. These are the pieces that turn that week into phone calls.

👕
Crew tees & long sleeves

Tough cotton and poly-blend shirts that survive shingle dust, tar and a hot wash. Company name big across the back so it reads from the street, logo on the left chest for close up.

🦺
Hi-vis shirts & vests

High-visibility tees and vests for crews working near driveways, streets and equipment. We keep the branding clear of the reflective tape so the garment still meets whatever standard your project calls for.

🧥
Embroidered jackets & hoodies

Stitched logos on softshells, fleece and heavyweight hoodies for shoulder-season mornings. Embroidery does not crack or peel, which matters on a garment that gets worn for years.

🪧
Lawn signs

Weather-rated coroplast signs with stakes for the front lawn of every job. Single or double-sided, and cheap enough to leave one behind on each street you work.

🚚
Truck & trailer decals

Cut lettering and printed decals for pickups, dump trailers and the boom truck. Phone number legible from a car length back, which is the only test that matters.

💼
Business cards & door hangers

Cards for the estimate visit and door hangers for the twenty houses either side of the job. The cheapest lead you will ever buy is the neighbour who already watched you work.

You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.

What matters here

Gear that survives
a roof in July.

Roofing is the hardest wear test in the trades. Shirts get shingle grit ground into them, jackets catch on ladders, and everything gets washed hot and often. We pick the decoration method for how the gear actually gets used, not for what is cheapest to produce.

  • Screen print and DTF bond into the fabric
  • Embroidery on jackets — no cracking
  • Branding kept clear of reflective tape
  • Back print sized to read from the street
  • Artwork kept on file for new hires
  • Bulk pricing as the crew grows
How ordering works

Built around how roofers actually reorder.

Crews change between seasons and shirts do not survive forever. You are not placing one big order — you are placing a first order and then topping it up for years. We set it up that way from the start.

🧾
What it costs

Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.

How fast

The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.

🔁
Reorders

We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you print on hi-vis shirts and safety vests for roofing crews?

Yes. We decorate high-visibility tees, long-sleeves, hoodies and vests, and we deliberately keep printing and embroidery clear of the reflective striping so the garment still performs as intended. Tell us the standard your general contractor or project requires and we will source a blank that matches it rather than guessing.

What is the most durable way to brand roofing work shirts?

For shirts, screen printing and DTF both bond into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so they hold up to grit, sweat and repeated hot washes far better than a heat-pressed vinyl letter. For jackets, softshells and hats, embroidery is the most rugged option there is — it is thread, so there is nothing to crack or peel.

Do you make lawn signs for roofing job sites?

Yes, on weather-rated coroplast with stakes included, single or double-sided. Most roofers order them in quantity because the point is to leave one on every street you work rather than moving a single sign from job to job. See our lawn signs page for materials and sizes.

Can you letter our trucks and dump trailers?

We produce cut vinyl lettering and printed decals for pickups, trailers and larger vehicles. The practical advice is to keep the phone number large and high on the panel — most people read a work truck from behind at a light, not from the side in a parking lot. Ask about installation when you request your quote.

Is there a minimum order for roofing crew shirts?

No hard minimum on DTF, so a single shirt for a new hire is fine. Screen printing, which is the better value once you are outfitting a full crew, starts around six pieces. Most roofing companies order a batch at the start of the season and top up as they hire.

Will a second batch of shirts match the first?

Yes — we keep your artwork, ink or thread colours and placement measurements on file, so a top-up order six months later comes out looking like the original. That is the main reason to use one shop rather than whoever is cheapest that month.

Can we get everything from one supplier?

That is the point of this page. Shirts, hi-vis, jackets, hats, lawn signs, truck decals, business cards and door hangers all come from the same shop, which means one artwork conversation and one consistent look instead of four suppliers each interpreting your logo differently.
