Chest is measured flat, 1″ below the armhole; length from the top of the shoulder to the hem; sleeve from the centre back of the neck. Measurements are Gildan's published specs, ±1″. The Gildan size in brackets is the kids' size number on the label — it is not an age. Gildan doesn't publish ages, so the estimated age is ours, worked out from Gildan's body measurements for a typical child. Kids the same age vary a lot, so go by chest and height when you can, and size up when in doubt.

It depends on quantity and method. A basic 1-colour screen print on a Gildan tee runs about $12–$18 each at 50 pieces, dropping under $10 in the hundreds. Full-colour DTF or small runs sit a little higher per piece but have no screen setup fees. Send us your design and we'll send back an exact price with a free mockup, usually the same business day.
Is there a minimum order for custom t-shirts?
Our minimum is 6 shirts for screen printing. For DTF and DTG we can do as few as 1, which is perfect for a single team jersey, a sample, or a small family order. Bulk discounts kick in at 50+ pieces.
Where can I get t-shirts printed near me in Ottawa?
Right here — we print in-house in Ottawa and serve the whole city plus Orléans, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, and Gatineau. Pickup at the shop or local delivery, and we ship across Canada for larger orders.
What's the turnaround on printed t-shirts?
Standard is 2–5 business days after you approve the mockup. Need them faster? Same-day and next-day rush is available on most orders — just tell us your deadline up front.
Screen printing or DTF — which should I choose for t-shirts?
Screen printing is the best value for big runs of 1–3 colours (think team tees, event shirts, staff uniforms). DTF handles full-colour, photo-detail, and small quantities with no setup cost. Not sure? We'll recommend the right one when we quote you — and it's the same free mockup either way.
Do you print youth t-shirt sizes, and what ages do they fit?
Yes — the Gildan 64000B youth tee, the kids' cut of our adult tee, in youth XS to XL. Estimated ages: XS about 4–5, S about 6–8, M about 9–11, L about 12–13 and XL about 14–16 (Gildan's own numbers like 10–12 are kids' size numbers, not ages). Order youth sizes beside the adult ones in the design studio; they're priced like the adult tee and count toward the same bulk price.
