Is there a minimum order for custom printing?
No big minimum. We print a single shirt with DTF or DTG, and screen printing starts at about 6 pieces. Bulk pricing kicks in as your quantity climbs, and you'll always see the price before you commit.
How much does custom t-shirt printing cost in Ottawa?
It depends on quantity, garment, and print method. A basic screen-printed tee runs roughly $12–$18 each at 50 pieces and drops under $10 in the hundreds; full-colour DTF sits a little higher per piece with no setup fee. Every quote is free and includes a mockup.
How fast is your turnaround?
Standard turnaround is about 2–5 business days after you approve the mockup and confirm the order. Got a deadline? Ask about rush production — we can often move faster for events, tournaments, and last-minute orders.
Do you really give a free mockup before I pay?
Always. You'll get a free digital mockup of your design on the actual product before any payment, so you can check the colours, sizing, and placement. We only print once you approve it.

Can I design my own custom shirt online?
Yes — free, with no account and no deposit. Our design studio at yayaprints.ca/mockup-creator lets you upload a logo, place it on a real garment, add text in proper print fonts, choose colours and sizes, and see the price update as you go. When you're happy you can order right there; you never have to phone or email us unless you want to.
If I design it myself online, does anyone check my artwork?
Always. Every order is reviewed by a human designer before it goes to press — a real person on our team checks your file's resolution, colours, sizing and placement. If something won't print well, we fix it or tell you exactly what's wrong and what to send instead. It is not an automated preflight, and nothing prints until you approve the corrected mockup.
What if my logo file is low quality or the wrong format?
Send it anyway. Our designers work with whatever you have — a phone screenshot, a PNG off a website, a PDF, even an AI-generated image. We'll clean it up, redraw it as vector art if it needs it, and show you the result on a mockup before you pay. Fixing a customer's file is part of the order, not an upsell.
Do you print custom t-shirts for Toronto and the GTA?
Yes. We print in-house in Ottawa and ship across the Greater Toronto Area — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. Design online or send us your logo, approve the free mockup, and orders typically arrive a day or two after they leave the shop.
Do you serve Montreal and Quebec?
Yes. We ship custom apparel and print across Quebec — Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard, Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivières and Gatineau, where we also do local pickup and delivery. We work with customers in English and French, and because everything is printed in Ontario there are no cross-border customs delays.
Should I choose screen printing, DTF, or embroidery?
