🏢 Built for Ottawa Property Managers

Building Signage
& Site Branding.

Property management runs on signage nobody notices until it is missing — the sign that stops a delivery driver blocking the loading bay, the one that keeps a visitor from parking in a resident's space, the notice that has to go up in eleven lobbies by Friday.

The package

What a managed property needs.

Signage across a portfolio, uniforms for the people maintaining it, and print for everything that has to be communicated to tenants.

🏢
Building & entrance signs

Address numbers, building identification and entrance signage. On a multi-building site the difference between clear and unclear building marking is measured in redirected deliveries and lost visitors.

🧭
Wayfinding & directional

Directional signs for parking, amenities, garbage and recycling, and unit ranges. The most common complaint on a large property is that people cannot find things — this is the cheapest fix available.

🅿️
Parking & safety signage

Reserved and visitor parking, tow-away notices, speed and safety signs, and loading-zone markings. Printed on materials rated for outdoor exposure through an Ottawa winter.

👕
Maintenance staff uniforms

Branded shirts and hi-vis for maintenance and superintendent staff, so residents can identify who is legitimately on site. In a building with controlled access that is a security function, not just branding.

🚐
Fleet decals & magnets

Maintenance van decals or removable magnets so vehicles on site are identifiable. Magnets suit shared or leased vehicles moving between properties.

📄
Tenant notices & door hangers

Printed notices, door hangers for scheduled maintenance and water shut-offs, and lobby posters. Consistent branded notices get read; photocopied sheets get ignored.

You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.

What matters here

Signage that survives
outdoors, for years.

Property signage is a long-life purchase installed once and expected to last. The failures are predictable: a material that goes brittle in the cold, print that fades on a south-facing wall, or a sign designed at a size that only works from three metres away.

  • Materials rated for year-round exposure
  • Sized for actual approach distance
  • Consistent look across a portfolio
  • Staff identifiable to residents
  • Artwork on file as you add properties
  • Repeat notices as a fast reprint
How ordering works

One property at a time, one standard.

Portfolios grow by acquisition, and signage usually gets inherited in whatever state the previous owner left it. Setting a template once means each new property gets brought up to the same standard as a reprint rather than a fresh design job.

🧾
What it costs

Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.

How fast

The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.

🔁
Reorders

We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What material should exterior property signage be printed on?

It depends on lifespan and mounting. Coroplast is the economical choice for temporary and seasonal signage. For permanent exterior signs — parking, building identification, safety notices — rigid substrates with UV-rated print hold up far better over years of Ottawa weather. Tell us how long the sign needs to last and where it is mounted and we will match the material to it.

How large should wayfinding signs be?

Size to the distance people read from, which for vehicle-facing signage is much further than for pedestrian signage. A parking sign read from a moving car needs substantially larger type than a lobby directory read at arm's length. The most common mistake is applying one size to both.

Can you keep signage consistent across multiple properties?

Yes, and it is worth setting up deliberately. We keep your templates, colours and materials on file so a newly acquired building can be brought to the same standard without redesigning anything. It also makes budgeting predictable, since each property is a known quantity.

Do you supply uniforms for maintenance and superintendent staff?

Yes — branded shirts, polos, hi-vis and outerwear. On properties with controlled access this matters more than people expect: residents are told to challenge unfamiliar people, so staff need to be visibly identifiable or they get challenged constantly.

Can you print tenant notices and door hangers?

Yes — notices, door hangers for scheduled maintenance and shut-offs, and lobby posters. Branding them consistently measurably improves whether they get read; a photocopied sheet taped to a door reads as ignorable in a way a properly printed notice does not.

Do you install signage?

We produce the signage and supply it ready to mount. Installation depends on the substrate, the mounting surface and site access, so ask about it when you request your quote and we will tell you what is involved for your specific job.

Can we order small quantities for a single building?

Yes. A single property needing four parking signs and a directory is a normal order. Larger portfolio-wide orders get better per-unit pricing, but there is no requirement to batch.

One standard,
every property.

Send your branding and a list of what the property needs. We will come back with a mockup and an itemized price, and keep the template for the next building.
