Security Uniforms
& Identification.

A security uniform has one job before it has any other: make it instantly obvious who is authorised. That means legible identification at a distance, consistent across every guard on every site, and durable enough to survive a rotation of twelve-hour shifts.

The package

The security uniform package.

Guarding is a presence business. Every piece below exists to make that presence readable from across a lobby or a parking lot.

👔
Embroidered duty polos

The everyday uniform. Stitched company mark on the chest and SECURITY across the back in high-contrast lettering, sized to read from across a lobby rather than up close.

🧥
Patrol jackets & softshells

Embroidered outerwear for mobile patrol and overnight shifts. Identification has to stay legible with a coat on, which is exactly where most uniform programs fall down.

🩹
Custom patches

Embroidered, woven or PVC patches with iron-on or velcro backing. Velcro is the practical choice — it lets you move rank, site or client identifiers between garments without reordering the whole uniform.

🦺
Hi-vis for traffic & events

High-visibility vests and shirts for parking control, event crowd management and construction-site gate duty, with identification kept clear of the reflective tape.

🧢
Caps & toques

Embroidered headwear that completes the silhouette. In winter a branded toque is often the only identifying item still visible on an outdoor post.

🚗
Vehicle decals & magnets

Marked patrol vehicles for mobile response. Magnets where vehicles are personal or leased, permanent decals where they are dedicated fleet.

You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.

What matters here

Identification that reads
from across the lot.

Most uniform problems in this trade are legibility problems. Lettering too small, low contrast against the garment, or an identifier that disappears the moment a guard puts a jacket on. We size and place for the distance the uniform actually gets read at.

  • High-contrast lettering, sized for distance
  • Identification repeated on outerwear
  • Velcro patches for site and rank changes
  • Embroidery survives shift-rotation washing
  • Consistent across every guard and site
  • Artwork on file for fast replacements
How ordering works

Built for rotation and turnover.

Guards rotate between sites and staff turn over quickly. The uniform program that works is one where a replacement polo in a specific size arrives looking identical to the ones already in the rotation — every time, without a new setup.

🧾
What it costs

Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.

How fast

The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.

🔁
Reorders

We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make custom patches for our security uniforms?

Yes — embroidered, woven and PVC patches, with iron-on or velcro backing. For security work we usually recommend velcro: it lets you move site, rank or client-specific identifiers between garments as guards rotate, instead of committing every identifier permanently to a specific shirt.

How should identification be sized and placed?

The practical rule is that identification needs to be legible at the distance people actually approach from, which in a lobby or parking lot is considerably further than the distance you judge a mockup at. We generally recommend a large high-contrast back marking plus a chest logo, and repeating identification on any outerwear so it does not vanish when a jacket goes on.

Will embroidery survive constant uniform laundering?

Yes — that is the main reason we recommend it here over printing. Security uniforms get washed constantly on shift rotation, and stitched thread does not crack, fade or peel the way a surface print eventually will. The one-time digitizing cost pays for itself over the life of the program.

Can we order replacement pieces one at a time?

Yes. Once your design has been digitized for embroidery there is no repeat setup cost, so single replacement garments are viable. We keep thread colours, placement measurements and your size history on file so a replacement matches what is already in rotation.

Do you do hi-vis for parking and event security?

Yes. We decorate high-visibility vests, tees and long-sleeves for traffic control, event crowd management and construction gate duty, keeping identification clear of the reflective striping so the garment still performs as intended.

Can you brand our patrol vehicles?

We produce cut lettering, printed decals and removable door magnets. Magnets suit personal or leased vehicles, permanent decals suit dedicated patrol fleet. Ask about installation when you request your quote.

Can uniforms carry a client's branding as well as ours?

Yes, and it is a common request for contract guarding. The usual approach is your company mark stitched permanently plus a velcro patch position for the client identifier, so the same garment can move between contracts without a reorder.
