Café Branding
That Travels.

A café brand does most of its work off the premises — on a cup carried down the street, a bag of beans on someone's kitchen counter, a sticker on a laptop in a co-working space. The room matters, but the things that leave the room matter more.

The package

The café branding package.

What the staff wear, what the street sees, and what customers carry out the door.

🍳
Barista aprons

The most-looked-at garment in the room. A customer stares at the apron across the counter for the length of every order, which makes it the highest-value branded surface a café owns.

👕
Staff tees & hoodies

Simple branded shirts for the floor, and hoodies staff will actually keep wearing after their shift — which quietly turns your team into the best advertising you have.

🪧
A-frame sidewalk signs

Double-sided sandwich boards for the pavement. For a café set back from the street or in a plaza, this is often the single highest-return sign you can buy.

🪟
Window graphics

Hours, logo and wifi on the glass, plus seasonal graphics. Your window sells to everyone who walks past at 7am whether you are open or not.

📋
Menus & menu boards

Printed menus, counter cards and board inserts. Worth reprinting properly when prices change rather than taping a correction over the old number, which is what customers actually notice.

🏷️
Bean bag labels & stickers

Retail bag labels, cup stickers and loyalty cards. A branded bag of beans sits on a counter at home for two weeks — that is a lot of impressions for the cost of a label.

You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.

What matters here

Branding that leaves
with the customer.

Cafés compete on a street where the shop next door sells roughly the same thing. What separates them is recognition — and recognition is built by the things customers carry, keep and put on a laptop, not by the interior nobody photographs.

  • Aprons that survive milk, coffee and bleach
  • Sidewalk signage for set-back frontage
  • Window graphics that work while closed
  • Menus reprinted, not taped over
  • Retail labels for takeaway beans
  • Stickers people actually keep
How ordering works

Small orders, often.

Cafés reprint constantly — menus when prices change, loyalty cards when the box empties, a new apron when someone joins. Setting the brand up once means every one of those is a same-artwork reprint instead of a fresh design job.

🧾
What it costs

Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.

How fast

The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.

🔁
Reorders

We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

What aprons hold up behind an espresso bar?

Heavier fabrics in darker colours. Milk, coffee and sanitiser are hard on a light apron, and a stained apron reads as a dirty café whether or not that is fair. For branding, embroidery survives daily hot washing better than a print, though on aprons you plan to replace annually a print is a reasonable economy.

Are A-frame sidewalk signs worth it for a café?

For most, yes — particularly if your frontage is set back, you are in a plaza, or you are on a street where people walk past looking at their phones. Check your municipality's rules on sidewalk signage before ordering, since permitted placement and size vary and enforcement is real.

What should go on the café window?

Hours first — it is the single most common thing people look for through the glass — then your name and one line about what you are known for. Wifi availability is worth including if you want laptop customers. Resist listing the full menu; nobody reads it at walking pace.

Do you print labels for retail coffee bags?

Yes — labels in any shape, including die-cut, on stocks that hold up to handling and some moisture. If you roast or repackage, the label is what makes it your product rather than a wholesaler's, and a bag of beans sits visible on a customer's counter for a couple of weeks.

Are loyalty cards still effective?

In cafés specifically, yes — the purchase frequency is high enough that a card fills before it gets lost, which is the usual failure mode elsewhere. Print on a stock heavy enough to survive a wallet, and make sure a stamp or punch actually shows clearly on the finish you choose.

Should we do stickers?

If your logo is good, stickers are among the best value items on this page. People put them on laptops, water bottles and notebooks and carry them around for a year. Die-cut to your logo shape rather than printed on a square, which is the difference between something people keep and something they bin.

Can you match our brand colours exactly across apparel and print?

Close, with an honest caveat. Print and fabric render colour differently — the same brand blue will not look identical on a coated menu card and a cotton apron, because one is ink on paper and the other is dye or thread on textile. We will get them as close as the materials allow and tell you where a compromise is being made.
