Retail Signage
& Store Branding.
Retail runs on people who were walking past and decided to come in. Everything on this page is aimed at that moment — the sign that gets noticed, the window that gets read, and the bag that walks your name down the street afterwards.
The retail branding package.
Outside to get them in, inside to help them buy, and something branded to leave with.
Exterior signs, fascia lettering and dimensional signage. The single highest-leverage purchase a retail business makes, and the one most often inherited from the previous tenant and never replaced.
Cut lettering for hours and logo, seasonal promotional graphics, and perforated one-way vinyl that advertises outward while staying see-through from inside. Your window works twenty-four hours a day.
Sale signs, shelf talkers, price cards and A-frame sidewalk boards. Cheap, replaceable, and the thing that moves slow stock without discounting further than you meant to.
So customers can find someone to ask. In a busy shop the difference between a staffed store and an unstaffed one, as far as a customer is concerned, is whether they can identify an employee in three seconds.
Labels, hang tags, packaging seals and price stickers. If you make or repackage anything, this is what turns stock into your product rather than a supplier's.
The cheapest ongoing advertising in retail. A customer carries your name through a shopping district for an afternoon and then reuses the bag for a year.
You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.
The window is open
even when you are not.
A retail window is the only advertising you own that runs continuously, costs nothing per impression, and reaches exactly the people who are already on your street. Most independent shops underuse it badly — a logo and hours, and nothing else, for years.
- ✓Signage sized for the walking distance
- ✓Perforated vinyl advertises out, sees in
- ✓Seasonal graphics you can actually swap
- ✓Staff identifiable in three seconds
- ✓Labels that make the product yours
- ✓Totes that keep advertising after the sale
Permanent brand, seasonal swaps.
Your sign and core window vinyl are a one-time spend. Sale signage, seasonal window graphics and shelf cards are the recurring part — cheap enough to change with the season, which is exactly what keeps a storefront from looking stale.
Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.
The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.
We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions
What is perforated window vinyl and when should I use it?
It is a printed vinyl with tiny holes through it, so from outside it reads as a solid full-colour graphic while from inside it remains largely see-through. Use it when you want to advertise across a large window without turning your shop into a box — retail, cafes and studios use it constantly for exactly that reason.
How big should storefront signage be?
Bigger than most people design it. Signage is judged at the distance people first see it from, which on a street is typically much further than the distance you approve the artwork at. Contrast matters as much as size — dark text on light or the reverse, and not much else.
Can we change window graphics seasonally?
Yes, and it is worth planning for. Keep your permanent elements — name, logo, hours — as one application, and treat seasonal promotional graphics as separate pieces that get swapped. That way a Christmas graphic does not mean re-cutting your logo every year.
What signage helps most inside the store?
Sale signage and shelf talkers, by a distance. A clear sign on a slow-moving item shifts stock more reliably than a deeper discount with no signage, because the problem is usually that nobody noticed the item, not that it was priced wrong.
Do you print product labels and hang tags?
Yes — labels in any shape including die-cut, on durable and waterproof stocks, plus hang tags and packaging seals. For makers and repackagers this is the item that most changes how the product is perceived at shelf.
Are branded tote bags actually worth it?
For a street-front or district retailer, yes — a tote is carried through a shopping area for an afternoon and then reused for months, which is a lot of impressions for the unit cost. For a destination store where customers drive in and out, the return is smaller and the money is usually better spent on the window.
Can you do a-frame sidewalk signs?
Yes — double-sided sidewalk and sandwich boards, which work well for shops set back from the pavement or in a plaza where the storefront is not visible from the road. Check your municipality's sidewalk sign rules before ordering, as they vary.
