What's the difference between cotton and canvas totes?
Light cotton totes are thin, fold flat, and are the usual pick for giveaways and swag bags where quantity matters. Canvas is a heavier, tighter weave that holds its shape, carries groceries or books without stretching, and feels far more premium in the hand. If you tell us what people will carry in the bag, we'll point you at the right weight.
Can you print full-colour photos on a tote bag?
Yes. Detailed or photographic artwork is printed with a DTF transfer, which reproduces gradients and fine detail on cotton and canvas. Simple designs with a few solid colours are usually screen printed instead, which gives a softer hand feel on larger runs. We'll recommend whichever method suits your artwork when we send the mockup.
Do you print on both sides of the bag?
We do. A common setup is your logo on the front and a website, slogan, or sponsor block on the back. Printing the second side adds to the cost per bag, so send us your quantity and what you want on each side and we'll quote both options.
Can I get my logo embroidered on a tote instead of printed?
Canvas totes take embroidery well, and a stitched left-chest-sized logo on the front panel is a popular upgrade for retail and corporate bags. Embroidery works best with simple, bold shapes rather than fine text or gradients. Send your logo and we'll tell you honestly whether it will stitch cleanly at the size you want.
What size tote should I order?
A standard shopping-style tote suits most giveaways and retail use. Go larger with a gusseted bottom if the bag needs to hold binders, groceries, or conference material, and smaller if it's a favour or a gift bag. Tell us what goes inside and we'll suggest a size and handle length.
Do you have a minimum order for custom tote bags?
It depends on the bag and the decoration method — screen printing suits larger runs, while DTF and embroidery work well for smaller batches. Send us the quantity you're thinking of, even if it's a handful, and we'll tell you what's possible and give you an exact quote.
