Custom T-Shirts & Printing in Hamilton

We're YAYA Prints, and we print everything in-house in Ottawa, then ship to Hamilton by courier. There's no storefront on James North, and we'd rather say that up front than fake a local address. Send artwork and a quantity and you'll get a free digital mockup on the actual garment before you pay anything. A human designer looks at every file, so a phone screenshot or a low-res logo doesn't blindside you at press time. Screen printing, DTF, DTG, embroidery, vinyl and signage, one shop, real per-piece pricing, printed in Ontario.

Design it yourself in seconds — a real designer still reviews every order before it prints.

Hamilton, Waterloo Region & Southern Ontario

Custom printing built for Hamilton.

Hamilton orders come from every corner of the city. We print embroidered workwear and hi-vis for trades and shops around the industrial north end and the Dofasco stretch of Burlington Street, staff polos for clinics tied to Hamilton Health Sciences and St. Joseph's, and club, residence and intramural tees for McMaster in Westdale and Mohawk up on the Mountain. James Street North galleries and Supercrawl vendors order short-run merch; Locke Street and Ottawa Street North shops order branded staff shirts and window graphics. Then there's the sports side: Around the Bay training crews, minor hockey, rec soccer, Tiger-Cats tailgate groups, and escarpment breweries that want their own tap-room tees.

Hamilton leans hard on embroidered workwear for trades and healthcare employers, plus bulk screen-printed tees and hoodies for McMaster and Mohawk clubs, minor sports and event crews. DTF and vinyl cover the one-off and full-colour jobs in between.

Custom printing in Hamilton — FAQ

Do you have a shop in Hamilton I can walk into?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. YAYA Prints prints in-house in Ottawa and ships to Hamilton by courier, so there's nowhere on James North or Locke Street to visit. In practice it costs you very little: you get a free digital mockup on the actual product before you pay, a real designer reviews the file, and the order lands at your door or your shop. Standard production runs 2 to 5 business days after you approve the mockup and pay, then 1 to 2 days in transit. It's all printed in Ontario, so no customs holds and no duty.

Who actually looks at my artwork before it goes to press?

A person does. Every order is reviewed by one of our designers, not an automated preflight that spits out a warning code. They check resolution, colour, sizing and placement on the garment, then either fix the file or tell you plainly what's wrong with it. Send a photo from your phone, a PNG pulled off your website, a PDF from an old sign job, or something an AI tool generated, and we'll clean it up or redraw it as vector art. You see the result in your mockup, and nothing prints until you approve it.

Can I design something and get a price without phoning anyone?

Yes. Go to yayaprints.ca/mockup-creator, upload your logo, drop it on a real garment, add print-quality text, pick colours and sizes, and watch the price move as you go. No account, no deposit, no sales call, and you can order straight from the studio. A designer still reviews the file afterwards, before we print. If you'd rather have a human do the layout, email order@yayaprints.ca or call 613-666-9292 and we'll build the mockup for you and send it back.

What does a run of 50 screen-printed tees cost for a Hamilton team?

For a straightforward one or two colour design on a standard tee, expect roughly 12 to 18 dollars a shirt at 50 pieces, depending on the garment, the number of print locations and the ink colours. Push into the hundreds and it usually drops under 10 each. Those are honest ranges rather than a rate card. The blank you pick moves the number more than anything else does. Send the quantity, the size breakdown and your artwork and we'll quote the actual job for free, with a mockup attached so you can see what you're buying.

We need shirts for a tournament in two weeks. Is that realistic?

Usually, yes. Standard turnaround is 2 to 5 business days once the mockup is approved and paid, plus 1 to 2 days on the courier from Ottawa to Hamilton, and rush is available on most apparel jobs. Two weeks is comfortable. What we won't do is promise a delivery date we don't control, so tell us your in-hands date before you order and we'll say straight out whether it's on. The clock starts at approval, which makes getting artwork to us early the single biggest thing you can do for your own deadline.

Can you do embroidered workwear for a crew, not just tees?

That's a big part of what we ship to Hamilton. Embroidery on polos, jackets, softshells, toques and caps holds up to a work week far better than a print does, and it's what most trades and shop crews want on the chest and sleeve. We'll digitise your logo for stitching and show you a mockup first. If you also need names, numbers or a large back logo, we'll often mix methods, with an embroidered left chest and a screen-printed or DTF back, and quote the whole thing as one job.

How ordering works

Design it yourself. A human designer still checks every order.

Our free studio gives you the price and the mockup in the browser. What it doesn't do is print your file blindly — every order is reviewed by a real designer before it reaches the press.

  1. Step 1
    You design it — free

Upload your logo, drop it on a real garment, set the size and placement, pick colours and quantities. No account, no deposit, no waiting on a reply.

  2. Step 2
    A human designer checks it

Before anything prints, one of our designers opens your file and checks resolution, colours, sizing and placement. If it won't print well, we fix it or tell you exactly what's wrong — a person, not an automated preflight.

  3. Step 3
    You approve, then we print

You get the corrected mockup back on the actual product. Nothing goes to press until you say yes — and it ships in 2–5 business days.

Hamilton, let's make
something custom.

Design it yourself in our free studio and see the price as you go — or send your artwork and quantity and we'll come back with a free mockup, usually the same business day.

Either way, a real designer reviews your file before anything prints.
