What can you print on besides t-shirts?
Quite a lot. Screen printing, DTF and DTG for tees, hoodies and crewnecks. Embroidery for polos, work shirts, jackets and hats. Vinyl and heat transfer for names, numbers and one-offs. Embroidery or screen printing for our shop uniforms?
For uniforms that get worn hard on manufacturing floors, in tool shops and on service calls, embroidery usually wins. Stitching doesn't crack or fade the way a print eventually will, and it reads as more finished on a polo or a work jacket. Screen printing is the better answer for volume tees, big graphics, and anything where you want colour across a whole chest or back. Plenty of Cambridge shops order both: embroidered polos for the office and customer-facing staff, screen-printed tees for the floor and for summer. We'll quote both if you want to compare the numbers.
Can you match the exact colours in our logo?
We get close, and we're straight with you about where close ends. Screen printing mixes inks to hit a specific colour and holds it steady across a run. DTF and DTG print in process colour, which nails most things but can shift slightly on very saturated brand blues and oranges. Embroidery has to match to available thread colours, so there's a nearest-match step there. Send your brand colour codes along with the artwork and the designer reviewing your file will flag anything that won't reproduce the way you're expecting, before it prints rather than after.
Is there a location in Galt or Preston I can drop into?
There isn't. We print everything in Ottawa and ship it to Cambridge. No Galt counter, no Preston pickup window, no Hespeler depot. The whole job runs remotely instead: send artwork and a quantity, get a free digital mockup back on the actual product, approve it, and we print and courier the order out. Production is normally two to five business days after approval and payment, and transit adds a day or two on top. How does the price change between 12, 50 and 300 shirts?
Sharply, and in your favour. Screen printing carries a setup cost per ink colour, so at 12 pieces you're splitting that across very few shirts. By 50 it's spread thin, somewhere around 12 to 18 dollars a screen-printed tee depending on garment, ink colours and print locations. In the hundreds it typically drops under 10 each. That's why we ask for the real number before quoting: if you're sitting at 40 and 50 works out better per piece, we'll say so. Under about six pieces, DTF or DTG makes more sense than burning screens at all.
Do you do signage or vehicle graphics for Cambridge businesses?
We produce signage and vehicle graphics in the Ottawa shop, so the answer depends on what you need. Flat printed work ships to Cambridge like anything else: banners, coroplast, decals, window graphics, magnets. Full vehicle wrap work involves installation, which is a different conversation for a fleet parked in Cambridge than for one sitting here.
