Custom T-Shirts & Printing in Uxbridge

Uxbridge is a small town, and small runs are what a lot of printers quietly avoid. We do not. There is no minimum on our DTF and DTG printing, so one shirt for a trail race volunteer is a real order, and screen printing kicks in around six pieces once the count grows. We print everything ourselves in Ottawa and courier it out to you. Free mockup on the actual garment before you pay, a real designer on every file, and a free online studio if you would rather do it yourself.

Design it yourself in seconds — a real designer still reviews every order before it prints.

Greater Toronto Area

Custom printing built for Uxbridge.

Being the Trail Capital of Canada shapes what Uxbridge orders. Riders and hikers heading into Durham Forest, Walker Woods and Glen Major want event tees, volunteer shirts and club hoodies, and the trail races here run on merch. Brock Street shops, the bakeries, the bike shops and the outfitters order branded staff gear and window decals. The Music Hall crowd and the artists on the studio tour order cast, crew and vendor shirts. Horse farms and hobby barns out toward Leaskdale, Sandford and Goodwood order barn jackets and show-day polos, and the framers, landscapers and excavators who fill half the local phone book want embroidered work shirts that last a full season.

Uxbridge orders skew small and specific: single shirts and short DTF runs for trail events and Main Street shops, embroidered work shirts for trades and farms, and hoodies for clubs and teams.

Custom printing in Uxbridge — FAQ

We only need about ten shirts. Is that worth your time?

Ten is a completely normal order here. DTF and DTG have no minimum at all, so we will print one if that is what you need, and ten of a full-colour design costs the same per shirt as ten of a simple one. Screen printing starts around six pieces and gets noticeably cheaper past roughly 24 to 50, so if your ten might become forty, say so and we will price both. Either way the mockup is free and you see it before you pay.

Do you have a shop on Brock Street or anywhere near Uxbridge?

We do not. YAYA Prints prints in Ottawa and ships, so there is no Uxbridge counter to visit. That is the honest version. The trade-off is that you deal with the people running the presses instead of a middleman, and the proof happens on screen: you get a free digital mockup on the actual garment, you approve it, then we print and courier it out. Most people find that faster than driving somewhere to flip through a binder of samples.

Can I see a price without waiting for someone to email me back?

Yes. Open yayaprints.ca/mockup-creator, upload your logo or type your text, put it on the garment you want, choose colours and sizes, and the price moves as you go. You can place the order right there, no account and no deposit. If you would rather talk it through, call 613-666-9292 or email order@yayaprints.ca. Either path, a real designer reviews the artwork before it prints and will flag anything that will not hold up at the size you picked.

Will a full-colour design print properly on a black hoodie?

Yes. DTF lays down a white underbase before the colour, so photos, gradients and detailed logos come out bright on black, navy or forest green instead of muddy. Screen printing does the same thing with an underbase screen when the run is big enough to justify it. What matters more is the file you send. Our designer checks the artwork against the garment colour and will tell you if a thin outline or a pale detail is going to disappear into the fabric.

How fast can you turn something around for a race weekend?

Normal turnaround is two to five business days of production after you approve the mockup, plus one to two days by courier into Uxbridge. Rush is available on most apparel jobs and we say up front what it costs. What we will not do is promise a delivery date we do not control. Give us the date the shirts need to be in your hands and we will tell you before you pay whether that is realistic or whether a simpler method makes more sense.

Are these printed overseas? Will I get hit with duty?

No and no. Everything is printed in our own shop in Ontario, so your order never crosses a border, never sits in customs and never lands with a surprise duty or brokerage bill. It ships domestic courier from Ottawa to Uxbridge. It also means that if something is wrong you are talking to the people who actually printed it, not a reseller relaying messages to a factory several time zones away and hoping for the best.

How ordering works

Design it yourself. A human designer still checks every order.

Our free studio gives you the price and the mockup in the browser. What it doesn't do is print your file blindly — every order is reviewed by a real designer before it reaches the press.

  1. Step 1
    You design it — free

Upload your logo, drop it on a real garment, set the size and placement, pick colours and quantities. No account, no deposit, no waiting on a reply.

  2. Step 2
    A human designer checks it

Before anything prints, one of our designers opens your file and checks resolution, colours, sizing and placement. If it won't print well, we fix it or tell you exactly what's wrong — a person, not an automated preflight.

  3. Step 3
    You approve, then we print

You get the corrected mockup back on the actual product. Nothing goes to press until you say yes — and it ships in 2–5 business days.
