How much does vectorization actually cost?
Real pricing, no games: simple 1-colour logos run about $15–$25, standard multi-colour logos about $30–$45 (that's most people), and complex art — gradients, fine detail, mascots, or a low-res file we rebuild from scratch — about $55–$85. All CAD, per logo. Those are ballparks; a real designer reviews your file and confirms the EXACT fixed price before any work starts. No subscriptions, no setup fees, no hidden anything.
Will I get hit with surprise fees after I order?
No — that's the whole point. You get a fixed price up front, and you approve both the price AND a proof before you pay a single cent. The only possible extra is rush, and only if you ask for it — and you'll see that in your quote too. We don't do surprise fees.
What if my logo is already a vector?
Then you might not need us at all — and we'll tell you straight. Upload it, we'll check it free, and if it's already clean and print-ready you pay nothing. Heads up: a logo saved as a PDF or EPS isn't automatically a real vector — sometimes it's just a pixel image wrapped in a vector file. We'll spot that and let you know honestly.
Why pay for this when free online auto-tracers exist?
Because they're garbage on real logos. What files do I get back?
The full standard pack on every order: SVG, EPS, print-ready PDF, and AI (the editable source). Need a transparent PNG or a DXF for laser/CNC cutting? Just ask — those are free. Doing screen printing? We call out your spot / Pantone colours. The source files are yours to keep forever — no lock-in, no re-buying.
Is this the same as embroidery digitizing?
No — and it's an important difference. Vectorizing gives you a clean vector logo. Embroidery needs a second step called digitizing, which turns that vector into actual stitch data the machine sews. A clean vector is the FIRST step that makes good digitizing possible — start from a fuzzy JPG and the stitches inherit the mess. We do both — just tell us it's headed for embroidery and we'll set it up right and quote them together.
My logo is tiny / low-res / I only have a screenshot. Can you still do it?
Yes — that's exactly what hand vectorizing is for. A robot can't rebuild detail that isn't there, but a human designer can. Low-res or messy sources fall into our Complex tier (we redraw from scratch), but we'll get you a clean, print-ready file. Send whatever you've got — a screenshot, a faded old logo, a photo of a printed shirt, even a hand-drawn sketch.
What if I don't like the result? And who owns the files?
We re-do it free until it's right — you review the proof, we tweak it, you sign off, and since you approve before you pay you're never stuck with something you don't love. No revision fees, ever.
