HVAC Company
Uniforms & Van Branding.
HVAC uniforms are ID first: they tell a homeowner the person at the door is the technician they booked. We make the whole kit from one shop in Ottawa — embroidered polos, work tees and fleece built for attics in July and crawlspaces in January, plus the van decals, door hangers and lawn signs that sell the next job on the same street.

The HVAC uniform package.
Every service call puts one tech inside a stranger’s home, and every install parks a van in their driveway for the day. These pieces make both visits look like the same company — and the kit works the same for plumbers, electricians and any home service team.
The service-call uniform: a Gildan 8800 in 52/48 cotton-poly, or a 100% polyester polo for techs who run hot, with your logo stitched on the left chest. You can design it yourself in the online studio. Want each tech’s first name stitched on the right chest? Ask in your quote.
Install days and attic work go through shirts fast. Pick the Gildan 64000 in 100% ring-spun cotton, or the Team 365 TT11 in 100% polyester for July attics. Logo on the left chest, company name and phone number across the back — our standard back print is 11″ wide.
Fleece for the shoulder seasons — spring start-ups and October furnace checks. The Gildan 18000 crewneck has no hood or drawstrings to snag on attic framing and layers cleanly under a jacket; the hoodie is a Gildan 18500 in 50/50 fleece or a Team 365 TT400 in 100% polyester.
No-heat calls in January mean a walk from the van, a cold side door and sometimes a crawlspace. Softshells, insulated work jackets and fleece mid-layers with an embroidered chest logo are quoted directly — send the style you want, or tell us how the jacket gets used and we’ll suggest one.
Rooftop units on commercial buildings and work on new-build sites can come with a hi-vis rule. We brand hi-vis tees and vests with the logo kept clear of the reflective tape — tell us the standard the site requires, or the style you already buy, and we’ll quote to match.
The van sits in the driveway for the whole call, and the neighbours read it. Cut-vinyl lettering or printed decals for the name, trade and phone number; removable magnets for techs in their own cars; a partial or full wrap for the van that does the most kilometres.
A furnace or heat-pump install keeps your van on the street all day, and the houses either side notice. Leave a door hanger on each of them before you pull away — 14pt gloss card with a pre-cut knob hole, printed on one side or both.
With the homeowner’s okay, a sign on the front lawn for install week tells the whole street who did the work. Printed on 4mm coroplast, one side or both, at 18″ × 24″ or a custom size — add wire H-stakes to the order.
Hand one over at every estimate — it’s the card that stays on the fridge until the furnace quits. Standard 3.5″ × 2″ on 16pt card, full colour front and back, with room for your after-hours number.
You don't have to take the whole package. Most customers start with one or two pieces and add the rest as they grow — tell us where you're starting and we'll quote just that.
Trusted at the door.
Tough in the attic.
A homeowner lets your tech into the basement, the furnace room, sometimes the whole house while they’re at work. A logo on the chest and a first name they can say out loud make that an easy yes, and a team that looks the same on every call makes a small company look established. Then the gear has to survive the job: attic heat, crawlspace grime and wash after wash.
- ✓Logo and first name — ID at the door
- ✓One look across every tech and van
- ✓Stitched polos: nothing to crack or peel
- ✓Polyester tees for July attics
- ✓Fleece and jackets for January calls
- ✓Approved file kept for every new hire

Two busy seasons, one approved file.
HVAC runs on two rushes — spring air-conditioning tune-ups and fall furnace season — and new techs get hired in the middle of both. Order the core kit before the season starts (standard turnaround on clothing is 1–2 weeks), then top up as people join: every reorder comes off the same approved file, so a new hire’s polo matches the rest of the team’s.
Price depends on the product, quantity, decoration method, number of locations and any personalization. Every quote is free and itemized, so you can see which lever moves the number.
The clock starts when you approve the mockup, not when you first get in touch. Tell us your real in-hand date up front and we'll confirm whether it's achievable before you commit.
We keep your artwork, colours and placement on file. A second batch matches the first, skips setup, and doesn't need re-quoting from scratch.

Frequently asked questions
What do HVAC technicians wear?
The usual HVAC uniform is a polo or work tee with the company logo on the left chest, often with the tech’s first name, plus company fleece for spring and fall and a jacket for winter calls. Polos suit service and maintenance visits inside homes; tees suit install days and attic work. Commercial sites and new builds can add a hi-vis rule, and plumbing and electrical companies run much the same kit.
Should HVAC work shirts be embroidered or printed?
Embroider the polos and outerwear; print the tees. Embroidery is thread, so there is nothing to crack or peel, and a stitched chest logo is what people expect on a polo. Printing — screen print or DTF — is the right call for a big company name across the back of a tee, where the same design in thread gets heavy, stiff and expensive. Either way, wash inside-out in cold water and hang dry or tumble dry low.
Can each technician’s name go on their shirt?
Yes. For tees and hoodies, our online studio has a Team names chart: paste your list with a size for each person, and each name prints across the upper back — numbers are optional, so you can switch them off. Each personalized shirt costs a bit more, and you approve the full chart before you pay. For a first name embroidered on a polo’s chest, ask in your quote.
What’s the best fabric for working in a hot attic?
100% polyester. The Team 365 TT11 tee in our studio is a light 3.5 oz/yd² performance knit that holds less sweat and dries faster than cotton — what you want in an attic in July. The exception is brazing: polyester can melt when a torch flame or spark catches it, where cotton scorches, so techs who braze line sets are better off in the Gildan 64000 (100% ring-spun cotton). If your safety program calls for flame-resistant clothing, say so in your quote request.
How fast can a new hire get uniforms?
Standard turnaround on clothing is 1–2 weeks. Most apparel orders can rush — 4–5 business days or 1–3 business days, priced at checkout — and every order shows the dates it will be ready before you pay. If you hire all season, keep a few logo polos in common sizes at the office so a new tech is in uniform on day one.
Is there a minimum order for HVAC uniforms?
No minimum on DTF and DTG — we will print a single shirt, so one new hire is fine. Screen printing starts around 6 pieces and becomes the best value past roughly 24–50 pieces. In the online studio the per-piece price drops at 12, 24, 50 and 100 pieces, and every colour of the same garment in one order counts toward the same break; outfitting a whole fleet in the hundreds is usually quoted directly through the free quote form.
Can you brand our service vans too?
Yes — cut-vinyl lettering, printed decals, removable magnets and partial or full wraps, from the same shop as the uniforms, so the logo on the van matches the one on the polo. Put the phone number on the back doors as well as the sides; that’s the view other drivers get at a red light. Magnets suit techs who drive their own vehicles to calls. Ask about installation when you request your quote.

Our free studio gives you the price and the mockup in the browser. What it doesn't do is print your file blindly — every order is reviewed by a real designer before it reaches the press.
- Step 1You design it — free
Upload your logo, drop it on a real garment, set the size and placement, pick colours and quantities. No account, no deposit, no waiting on a reply.
- Step 2A human designer checks it
Before anything prints, one of our designers opens your file and checks resolution, colours, sizing and placement. If it won't print well, we fix it or tell you exactly what's wrong — a person, not an automated preflight.
- Step 3You approve, then we print
You get the corrected mockup back on the actual product. Nothing goes to press until you say yes — then it's ready in 1–2 weeks, or in 1–3 business days with a rush.
