What size are door hangers?
The most common size is 4.25 × 11 inches, which fits neatly over a standard knob and reads well from the sidewalk. We also print shorter, wider, and fully custom shapes. If you're not sure, tell us how much copy you need on the piece and we'll recommend a size.
Do you cut the hole for the door handle?
Yes — the handle hole and the slot that lets it slide onto the knob are die-cut here as part of the job. We position the cut on your proof so you can see exactly how much of your design sits above it. Lever-handle-friendly cuts are available too.
Can I add a tear-off coupon?
We can perforate the hanger so the bottom section tears off cleanly — usually a discount coupon, a referral card, or a business card the homeowner keeps. It's a good way to measure how a neighbourhood run performed. Mention it when you send artwork so we lay it out on the perforation.
Will they hold up outside?
Door hangers sit outdoors for hours or days, so we print on heavier card stock and can add a gloss or matte coating for extra resistance to dew and light rain. For a longer hang or a wet stretch of weather, ask us about a synthetic or laminated stock instead of paper.
Can you design the door hanger for me?

Can I print different versions for different neighbourhoods?
You can. Splitting a run into versions lets you change the offer, the agent photo, or the service highlighted for each part of Ottawa you're canvassing. Send us the quantity you want per version and we'll quote the split.
